iOS Swift Functions and Optionals Optionals What is an Optional?

not seeing how this goes together...

It says to modify the search function. In the video the function was never modified but the for loop was. Please explain

search.swift
func search(#name: String) -> String {
    let names = ["Doc","Grumpy","Happy","Sleepy","Bashful","Sneezy","Dopey"]
    for n in names {
        if (n == name) {
            return name
        }
    }
    return "nil"
}

Make the return type of the function an optional.

At the top of the function, you must add a '?' to the end of '-> String' Then, at the bottom of the function, you need to take the "" off of nil. nil is its own value; that is to say, NO value. Just know that nil isn't a String.
