42,016 Pointsthe task states: Using the if-let statement, assign the value from the search function to a constant named result. If the name was found, use println to print out the string "Found". When calling the search function, pass it the name "Doc".
you just need to print "Found". thats it. dont interpolate the result. also since your search function has an external parameter (#name) you must provide that in the call to the search function:
func search(#name: String) -> String? {
let names = ["Doc","Grumpy","Happy","Sleepy","Bashful","Sneezy","Dopey"]
for n in names {
if n == name {
return n
}
}
return nil
}
// provide the external parameter name in the function call
if let result = search(name: "Doc") {
//simply print "Found"
println("Found")
}
