Not sure what I am doing wrong here. How do I return the statement?

Is my syntax wrong? Or am I just approaching this wrong all together?

script.js
function getYear() {
 var year = new Date().getFullyear();
 return year;
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">

</head>
<body>
<script src="script.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

Hello Jennifer,

You're so close! The only issue is, because JavaScript is case-sensitive, the function name getFullyear should have a capital Y in "Year".

...
var year = new Date().getFullYear();
...

I hope this helps.

Happy Coding :)
