2,691 PointsNot sure what is wrong.
The question is saying that it is not outputting the right pattern. Though when I run it in Visual Studio I am getting the correct instance with the right pattern.
Any help would be much appreciated.
class Letter:
def __init__(self, pattern=None):
self.pattern = pattern
def __iter__(self):
yield from self.pattern
def __str__(self):
output = []
for blip in self:
if blip == '.':
output.append('dot')
else:
output.append('dash')
return '-'.join(output)
@classmethod
def from_string(cls, text):
pattern = []
for pat in text.split("-"):
if pat == "dot":
pattern.append(".")
elif pat == "dash":
pattern.append("-")
return cls(pattern)
class S(Letter):
def __init__(self):
pattern = ['.', '.', '.']
super().__init__(pattern)

54,740 PointsThis happens a lot with this challenge. For 'dash' you are appending a hyphen instead of an underscore.
