Python Build a Social Network with Flask How to Win Friends Follow/Unfollow views

Not sure what this code isn't working. It keeps telling me to try again.

I have tried to debug this. Maybe I am over doing it. I don't see what is wrong with the code. Please help me out.

I figured it out. In the route I added, I was not finding the correct user. Here is how it should be written:

@app.route("/follow/")
@login_required
def follow(user_id):
    try:
      to_user = models.User.get(models.User.id==user_id)
    except models.DoesNotExist:
      pass
    else:
      try:
        models.Relationship.create(
          from_user=g.user._get_current_object(),
          to_user= to_user
        )
      except models.IntegrityError:
        pass
    return redirect(url_for('index'))```

Not sure if this matters:

Where you have:

@login_manager.user_loader
def load_user(userid):
    try:
        return models.User.select().where( models.User.id == int(userid) ).get()
    except models.DoesNotExist:
        return None

I have:

@login_manager.user_loader
def load_user(userid):
    try:
        return models.User.get(models.User.id == userid)
    except models.DoesNotExist:
        return None

Also, again not sure if this matters, but I am adding a username attribute along with my email and password on my signup (registration) form where below you are only adding email and password. How are you setting your username? I am also sending them to index if they register but back to register if they fail to validate something.

I have:

Thanks for the reformat. All I did was add the new route at the bottom of what was given to me in the task. I only added from @app.route('/follow/') and below.
