Python Python Collections (2016, retired 2019) Dictionaries Teacher Stats

Not sure why these aren't working?

For the most_courses function challenge in the Pythons Collections course, I've tried several solutions and not sure why they aren't passing...can anyone shed some light please?

def most_courses(teacher_breakdown):
    count = 0
    values_list = []
    for teacher in teacher_breakdown.values():
        values_list.append(teacher)
        if len(values_list) > count:
            count = (len(values_list))
            for name in teacher_breakdown:
                if name[] == count
     return name

also tried:

def most_courses(teacher_breakdown):
    max_count = 0
    max_teacher = ""
    for teacher, courses in teacher_breakdown.items():
        if len(courses) > max_count
            max_count = len(courses)
            max_teacher = teacher
    return max_teacher
teachers.py
# The dictionary will look something like:
# {'Andrew Chalkley': ['jQuery Basics', 'Node.js Basics'],
#  'Kenneth Love': ['Python Basics', 'Python Collections']}
#
# Each key will be a Teacher and the value will be a list of courses.
#
# Your code goes below here.
def num_teachers(teacher_breakdown):
    number_teachers = 0
    for teacher in teacher_breakdown:
        number_teachers += 1
    return number_teachers

def num_courses(teacher_breakdown):
    number_courses = 0
    for teacher in teacher_breakdown.values():
        number_courses += len(teacher)
    return number_courses

def courses(teacher_breakdown):
    courses = []
    for teacher in teacher_breakdown.values():
        courses += teacher
    return courses
