Can someone explain why we add the letter m in front of member variables?

Letter m in the beginning of a member variable is just a good practice. It is not mandated you have to put one in the beginning. It just makes things easier. Just like we use camel casing (first letter of word in caps) helloWorldHi = "Name" to carefully separate our names. Adding letter m just states that it is a member variable. You could have used any alphabet for that matter. Hope that explains. Revert back if you need more clarification.
