Not understanding why my code isnt working - i think something is missing from the section where i call the function?

Do you have to add something to the 'call function' code?

named_parameters.swift
func greeting( #person: String) {
    println("Hello \(person)")
}

greeting("Jerry")

Becky, the issue is the hash tag to start the parameter.

Try this:

func greeting(person: String) {
    print("Hello \(person)")
}

greeting("Jerry")

everything is correct except when you called the greeting:

Try - greeting(person: "Jerry")

You are missing the call to the parameter in the func syntax. It is the same issue I had at first.
