CSS CSS - Beyond the Basics Understanding Flexbox and Multi-Column Layout Flexbox Basics

Note: As of today 2015-07-12, display:flex works in chrome, while display:-webkit-flex does not work anymore

Actually this is not a question. I am just going through this course and typing along in my workspace i noticed that the source in the video does not work anymore.

But display:flex works perfectly.

The teacher's notes state:

NOTE: Flexbox is supported by all major browsers. Currently, Safari is the only browser that needs the -webkit- prefix.

Not sure when that was added though.

I've got it working in both Chrome and Safari with the -webkit prefix; unprefixed it doesn't work in Safari as stated. Seems that it's best to stick with the prefix until Safari gets on board. Not sure why yours isn't working prefixed in Chrome, Stefan.
