NOTHING is happening when I incorporate CSS changes. What's up with that?

Seriously. Some stuff turned orange at one point, and I got the text to appear white on it, but nothing in the step before that and no changes afterwards.

The only thing I see right now is your padding declaration has the % and the 5 reversed making it invalid.

  • first. in your li item > contact.html you are missing the opening " (does not affect the problem with css)
  • secondly. you have forgotten to set a value to the id in your div after the closing header tag to "wrapper" (adding this will solve your problem)

1) incorporated the change. doesn't do much. 2) changing the div wrapper thing doesn't seem to do anything. Unless I've written this wrong again...

Can you post a snapshot of your workspace? That would be the easiest way to check your code.

Did you change the percent padding that I mentioned above?
