Android Build an Interactive Story App The Model-View-Presenter Pattern Adding a Custom Constructor

Now add a second constructor that takes a String parameter. Use this parameter to update shipType to a specific type of

public class Spaceship { public String mType;

public String getType() {
  return mType;
}

public void setType(String type) {
  mType = type;
}

public Spaceship() { mType = "SHUTTLE"; } public Spaceship(String type) { mType=type;

} }

Spaceship.java
public class Spaceship {
    public String mType;

    public String getType() {
      return mType;
    }

    public void setType(String type) {
      mType = type;
    }
  public Spaceship() {
    mType = "SHUTTLE";
}
  public Spaceship(String type) {
   mType=type;

}
}

In your second constructor you're doing the same thing that's being done in setShipType() just use setShipType() and pass on the String variable of the constructor to the method.

public class Spaceship {
    public String shipType;

    public Spaceship () {
        shipType = "SHUTTLE";
    }

    public Spaceship (String shuttle) {
        setShipType(shuttle);
    }

    public String getShipType() {
      return shipType;
    }

    public void setShipType(String shipType) {
      this.shipType = shipType;
    }
}

let me try....thanx
