I can't figure out what is wrong with the 3. line...

Declare a third NSString variable named 'favorite' and assign a concatenated string to it by appending the variable named 'color' to the variable named 'preference'. (Remember to use the method 'stringByAppendingString').

NSString *color = @"Purple";
NSString *preference = @"My favorite color is";
NSString *favorite = [color stingByAppendingString: preference];

also, you've misspelled "stringByAppendingString". You wrote "sting"ByAppendingString

Stinks when that happens :(

The stringByAppendingString: method appends the parameter NSString to the NSString the method was called on.

You're not appending the strings in the correct order. You're appending preference to color and that results in "PurpleMy favorite color is ".
