NumString task 1.

I don't think I understand the magic method concept. I have added the two methods as I visualise them. Am I completely off the mark?

class NumString:
    def __init__(self, value):
        self.value = str(value)

    def __str__(self):
         return self.value

    def __int__(self):
        return int(self.value)

    def __float__(self):
        return float(self.value)

    def __add__(self, other):
        if '.' in self.value:
            return float(self) + other
        return int(self) + other

    def __radd__(self, other):
        return self + other

    def __iadd__(self, other):
        self.value = self + other
        return self.value

    def __mul__(self, other):
        return self.value * int(other)


    def __rmul__(self, other):
        return int(other) * self.value

NumString is intended to work with ints or floats.

Take a look at how "__add__" and "__radd__" are handled in the existing code. What you need to do is very similar, but with different math operators.

Well, if you always call "int()" to do the conversion, it won't produce the correct result when the value has a decimal.
