On most of the iOS development descriptions it would be nice if someone would put if it were for objective c or swift.

Do you mean for the latest round of workshops? The courses in the library specifically say Swift or Objective-C. If they don't specify a language it's Objective-C (because those are older courses and we didn't have to specify back then)
