CSS Framework Basics Prototyping with Bootstrap Using the Grid System

On Windows the ctrl+D shortcut will only select the word surrounding the cursor.

If you want to select all occurrences of the word, you should use alt+F3.

Ctrl+D will also highlight the word if it is repeated. Alt+F3 does exacly what the docs says. it's really nice for editeing a repeated word on multiple line. It will set a blinking marker at the end of the words so you can edit them all at the same time.

I search for the word i'm looking for and hit Alt+Enter for edit all the lines at the same time.
