1,427 PointsOnce you have uploaded your work from Workspace to the web host, where do you edit it from?
I have just created my first website. I bought the domain www.jdsterne.xyz and have uploaded my work to the web host I also bought and connected it with my domain. Now, must I delete everything from my web host and re-upload the edited workspace document every time I need to edit something? Or is there an easier way? Thank you very much for your help!

35,800 PointsYou have an apache server so your files are probably in /var/www/html/ or somewhere around there.
There is many ways to edit your site. There is no need to reupload everything if you only change 1 file. If you change 1 file then only that 1 file needs to be overwrited.
You can sync your site with Git and deploy that way. Or you could look into some other ways to deploy your site. The key is to automate it. As a new programmer getting use to git + adding an automation process to deploy your sites is tough. However if you put in the time to research and learn it now you will save your self a lot of time and failure.
I personally like to deploy with GIt and have used this tutorial many times
If the application is a little more complex and needs to exclude certain files/folders then I use grunt rsync.
Once again there is many ways. Find out what works for you and remember to automate!
