Now that I understand more about these two positions. My last question is where and when would you use them? Just curious. Thanks in advance for any input.

UX Design Techdegree Student 13,829 PointsOne common use for absolute positioning would be in a drop down menu in a navigation. Relative positioning is necessary for z-index purposes and can be a great asset when working with absolute positioning.
