JavaScript JavaScript Loops, Arrays and Objects Tracking Data Using Objects The Student Record Search Challenge Solution

Only Prints Last Object in Array

No matter which student name I type in the prompt box, it will only print the final object in my array. Can someone see what I have missed?

var students = [
  {name: "Sarah", track: "Digital Literacy", achievements: 13, points: 696},
  {name: "Mike", track: "Java Foundations", achievements: 37, points: 14933},
  {name: "Adam", track: "Web Design", achievements: 22, points: 807},
  {name: "Paul", track: "WordPress", achievements: 8, points: 498},
  {name: "Jezebel", track: "Bible", achievements: 11, points: 563}
];
var message = "";
var student;
var search;

function print(message) {
  var outputDiv = document.getElementById("output");
  outputDiv.innerHTML = message;
}

function getStudentReport(student) {
  var report = "<h2>Student: " + student.name + "</h2>";
  report += "<p>Track: " + student.track + "</p>";
  report += "<p>Achievements: " + student.achievements + "</p>";
  report += "<p>Points: " + student.points + "</p>";
  return report;
}

while (true) {
  search = prompt('Search student records: type a name [Jody] (or type "quit" to end).');
  if (search === null || search.toLowerCase() === "quit") {
    break;
  }
  for (var i = 0; i < students.length; i++) {
  student = students[i];
    if (student.name.toLowerCase === search.toLowerCase) {
      message = getStudentReport(student);
      print(message);
    }
  }
}

In your while loop you forgot to add the parenthesis after toLowerCase

//if (student.name.toLowerCase === search.toLowerCase) {
if (student.name.toLowerCase() === search.toLowerCase()) {

That was it! It is always something so obvious I just can't see after staring at it forever! Thank you, LaVaughn!
