opening and closing script tags javascript

how to add opening and closing script tags in javascript?

index.html
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
  <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
</head>
<body>
  <script>src<script/>

</body>
</html>

1 Answer

You need to have all your attributes in the opening script tag.

Correct:

<script src="LINK HERE"></script>

Incorrect:

<script>src<script />

Also to close an any element tag you must put the slash in front of the elements name. </script>, </html> etc.

@E ram Thanks for correcting me. Very helpful.
