Hi Anthony! You don't need an extra variable in the middle, you can just do the whole string interpolation in the greeting variable - you have the name addition to the string correct, you just need to put Hi there as a string like so:

let name = "Alex"
let greeting = "Hi there, \(name)"

Hope that helps - let me know if you have any questions :)
