you are returning prompt without assigning it to a variable, where will the value of the prompt you are returning will be stored to evaluate? Also, if you set the variable secret to "sesame" , the while loop will be true and it will pass and take you to:

 document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

This is kind of more correct:

var secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
while ( secret !== "sesame" ) {
  secret = prompt("What is the secret password?");
}
document.write("You know the secret password. Welcome.");

haha wow I had a little misunderstanding there. Thanks for helping mw understand Ricardo!
