Permissions for PHP File Handling

I am running into this error while working on the Basic File Handling - Writing all Files at Once video:

Warning: file_put_contents(data/html/sorted.html): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/treehouse/workspace/combine_sort.php on line 14

I noticed that there is a link about permissions at the bottom of the page and reviewed that video but even after giving rxw permissions to user, group, and other I am still getting the same error. I did this for the data directory, for combined_sort.php and for data/html/sotred.html but nothing seems to work.

If anyone has additional thoughts about this it would be much appreciated! Kinda stumped about what to try next for this

I figured this out after taking a detour to learn about console commands, I had the chmod correct but had the wrong file, the error was with sorted.html not with combine_sort.php! After giving full permissions for sorted.html the page began working!
