PhoneGap and Various Other Frameworks

Hi guys!

Is it worth it learning these frameworks or should I just stick with Swift and Java like I have been at the moment? I mainly program in Swift but didn't know if it was worth it to put that on pause and learn how to make apps in something like phone gap.

Thank you all for the responses and I hope you are all having a wonderful day.

It will depend on where you work. If that company specifically uses PhoneGap, then it's obviously worth knowing.

However, we don't see a huge demand for learning these 'wrapping' frameworks. It's much more valuable to write a native app.

Thank you very much for the response Ryan!

At the moment I don't work anywhere and probably won't be working anywhere for a while as I am still in education so I will just stick to writing out native apps!

I hope you are having a great day!
