PHP adding to a variable

I am failing miserable at this!

Hey Justin, you are almost there! The task is asking for us to add or subtract a number from the variables.

There are a few ways to approach this but continuing on from your code, you just have to finish it off by either using

$integerOne = $integerOne + 5;

or using short version

$integerOne += 5;

Both solutions are saying take 5 and add it to the variable $integerOne.

Take another look at the video on Arithmetic Operators, Alena does a great job on explaining the different ways to add to a variable.

or

$integerTwo -= 1;
