Why does the content/order of the modules keep changing on this learning adventure - so stupid. To learn something there should be a solid structure what the hell is going on??

Maybe Randy Hoyt can help us out too.

1,566 PointsTwo weeks ago the CSS modules completely changed, and the modules I had completed then showed as not complete. Then today the CSS modules have now been pushed down below the PHP modules - so instead of going HTML > CSS > PHP it now goes HTML > PHP > CSS.
Also the Responsive Website modules were removed from the PHP learning adventure.

Treehouse Guest TeacherI apologize for the confusion! We are always working to improve and increase our content offering. The CSS content has changed and grown since the Learning Adventure was first created. You can learn PHP and CSS in either order -- or even at the same time. They both depend on HTML, but they are largely independent of each other. For people wanting to be PHP developers, I felt there were now just too many CSS tutorials before the PHP tutorials.
Hope that helps!

6,531 PointsDefinitely not fun when stuff is ninja-shifted around. But on the other hand, we could easily go to the local public library and rent out a book on web design for free. The problem is that its contents start going stale the moment it is printed. I'm willing to put up with surprise learning adventure restructuring because it provides comfort in knowing that I'm learning from the most current and accurate sources.

9,672 PointsDidn't some of the CSS content get deprecated in early May? Is that perhaps what happened that caused things to change? So the new structure includes the new information then?
If so, how cool is that!

Courses Plus Student 14,839 PointsYes Julie Kuehl I was actually thinking the same thing. The previous CSS classes were retired recently.

6,625 PointsWas the "Enhancing a Simple PHP application" project added to the learning adventure as well? I'm all for content updates, especially if will help us stay up to date on the state of the art. Perhaps it would be help to include a summary of the changes at the top of the Learning Adventure and give us a heads up on upcoming changes? i.e.
5/10/2013 - Updated CSS module 5/15/2013 - "Enhancing a Simple PHP application" project added

Treehouse Guest TeacherYes, the second PHP project was added. (The content isn't finished for all the badges, but they should be finished soon.) Thanks for the suggestion on the "Changes" section; I'll see what I can do to get that added.
