PHP functions help

Hello! If I make a function like this: How would I call it, with "val1" to $bar, and "val3" to $cookie. You know, skipping $cake

    function foo($bar, $cake = NULL, $cookie) {

    }

   foo("val1", "val3");

    ```
You cannot skip an argument in php.
foo("val1",FALSE,"val3")
