Playback settings missing / no sound

Hello. I am evaluating a potential annual subscription with Treehouse. At present, once I connect my Samsung laptop to my HP Pavilion 22xi HD screen, i lose the sound. Checking on the internet I see that someone said that I need to adjust my playback settings to include Flash. I cannot find the playback settings anywhere. Please help. Andrew

You also have the option to download the videos onto your system.

The video files are .mp4 by the way. So if you have issues with playing with web browser the alternative is download the video and play it.

I believe teamtreehouse is HTML5. No flash here.

So download klite codecs. http://www.codecguide.com/download_kl.htm

or to play .mp4 files with VLC player

Well I hope everything works out. Make sure your fn hotkey isn't on mute either.

Thanks MR. Chan. I went to the internet, download adobe flash and then played around with it in my system settings. Mysteriously, everything works fine now..
