Doing Math Task # 3

Here are the instructions:

Create one last variable name profitPerUnit. In that variable store the amount of profit you made for each unit. You can calculate this by dividing the profit by the quantity.

Here is the message that I am receiving:

Bummer: Did you use the / symbol to divide profit by quantity?

Here is what I have so far:

var wholesalePrice = 5.45;
var retailPrice = 9.99;
var quantity = 47;
var salesTotal = 9.99 * 47;
var profit = 213.38;
// I have tried both of the following ways and neither are accepted. What, then, is being requested?
//var profitPerUnit = 213.38 /47;
//var profitPerUnit = 4.54;

Thanks in advance for any assistance provided!

script.js
var wholesalePrice = 5.45;
var retailPrice = 9.99;
var quantity = 47;
var salesTotal = 9.99 * 47;
var profit = 213.38;
// I have tried both of the following ways and neither are accepted. What is being requested?
//var profitPerUnit = 213.38 /47;
//var profitPerUnit = 4.54;

I can see that the message might be confusing. But for this exercise, you won't be entering any numbers. The lines provided at the start of the challenge will be the only ones with numbers.

All the calculations you write should use only variable names and operator symbols.

I see. Thank you Steven!
