How on earth do I get two images to go side by side on html/css. I have tried looking all over the internet and cannot make it work. I only have two images and would like them to scale appropriately when browser is re-sized, responsive. Also, my footer keeps jumping up into the middle of the page because I don't have enough content to push it down. PLEASE HELP!!!

5,839 PointsWithout code it would be hard to see what you're dealing with, but there are several ways to do this.
One way would be to use flexbox, if you have not already learned it I highly recommend giving it a shot. I believe that you can also make your images display inline-block. That might do the trick as well. You could also use floats I believe, but that might get a little hairy.
It sounds like you need a sticky footer. This is a common problem in page layouts and there are several ways to fix this as well. If I'm not mistaken, this should be covered in either the CSS basics course or in CSS layouts in the front end track.

4,247 Pointsok thx a lot. How do I send you a fork? so you can see how it renders. I ended up getting images side by side but they are huge, lol, and they drop below the footer.
