HTML How to Make a Website Creating HTML Content Create Navigation with Lists

please help me find out where to put<a href="index.html"> and please leave an example. Thanks!

pls help with this.

Hi,

To link your list items to the pages in your website you need to use href. This needs to be inside the li
example.

<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>

In that objective you're creating the navigation. It tells you to link all of the list items that you've created with anchor tags (the <a href=""> </a>) and it tells you to make the list item that says portfolio link to index.html.

So the list item content of portfolio, or the list item element itself, has to be wrapped inside of the anchor tag that has index.html as its href attribute.

See if you can work that out from the info I provided and post your work :)
