If you wan to write message on console window just use console command, not the document.write(). Use like this...

<!DOCTYPE HTML>
 <html>
 <head>
 <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
  <title>JavaScript Basics</title>
   </head>
   <body>
  <script>
 console.log("Begin Program");
 console.log('End Program');

 </script>
  </body>
  </html>
