8,720 PointsPlease help me to pass an easy challenge! (just a for-in loop + if statement)
I've tried it with two methods but both failed, please let me know how should I pass this challenge. Many thanks!
Challenge:
You are provided with a constant array named months that contains 3 consecutive numbers starting at 1. Using a for-in loop and an if statement, print out "January" when you encounter a 1, "February" when you encounter a 2, and finally "March" when you encounter a 3.
My (apparently wrong) solutions:
let months = [1, 2, 3]
for month in months{
if month == 1 {
println("January")
}
if month == 2 {
print("February")
}
if month == 3 {
println("March")
}
}
/*
let months = [1, 2, 3]
for month in months{
if month == 1 {
println("January")
}
else if month == 2 {
print("February")
}
else {
println("March")
}
}
*/

33,371 PointsHello Richard.
The second try you have is the correct one (the one you commented out), but in the February case you used print instead of println. Just correct that and you should be fine.
