Poly Count display not showing number of polygons.

When I display Poly Count, the list appears in the top left corner with the following row items: Verts, Edges, Faces, Tris, and UVs, Not # of Polygons. Why is the Polygons row not appearing? I am using the 2015 Student addition of Maya.

Hi Deanna-

Thanks for writing, and my apologies for the confusion. There actually isn't a specific row for "Polygons", but "Tris" (three sided polygons) would be the number that you should keep track of for game development.

All the best, Jason

"Polygons" does not appear on the Heads Up Display any longer. It'll show up as "Tris" instead when it's activated.
