10,012 Points.pop and .insert Why is this popping the list nested in a list?
Why does this code pop a list within the list rather than the first iteration of '1'?
the_list = ["a", 2, 3, 1, False, [1, 2, 3]]
# Your code goes below here
the_list.insert(0, the_list.pop()[1])

40,533 PointsWhen pop isn't given an argument it defaults to removing the last element in the list, which in this case is another list. In order to get at the 1, you'll need to specify which index you want to pop.
