Practice

Hello,

I was wondering if there was anyway that I can put the lessons learning from the front in dev into practice? I have learned a lot but I want to be able to practice the code i have learned. Particularly html and css.

The best way to practice is to have an idea in mind, like something that you want to build, because coding/programming is essentially a "builders" toolkit to be able to build something! A good beginner project to work on (and something that can be useful) is to build yourself a resume using purely html and css :)

Absolutely, the best way to practice is to try to build something because it will cause you to recognize areas where you may not have understood a lesson as well as you thought you did and in the end you have something that may be useful to you or someone else.

ok thank you guys. Is there a particular program that you use to build in?

Text editor?

Seems like I see a lot of others using Sublime Text, but I've been working with Atom and without doing much to set it up it's made life pretty easy. If I took the time to slow down and tweak it some more I bet it could be perfect.
