Practice selecting elements

I think I'm not understanding what good ole Guil is asking for here. I'll keep going over the material, but this seems really simple. I've tried a few ways of selecting the nav element. If anyone can give me a clue or nudge in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. I'm missing something.

js/app.js
let navigationLinks = document.querySelectorAll('nav');
let galleryLinks;
let footerImages;
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
  <head>
    <meta charset="utf-8">
    <title>Nick Pettit | Designer</title>
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/normalize.css">
    <link href='http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Changa+One|Open+Sans:400italic,700italic,400,700,800' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>

  <body>
    <header>
      <a href="index.html" id="logo">

        <h2>Designer</h2>

      <nav>

The instructions say to "select all links in the nav element". So you'll probably want a descendant selector with "nav" as the ancestor component. But the target needs to be the links ("a" elements).

I thought that's what I needed to target, but I didn't know how to do it? I'm assuming it's document.querySelectorAll('nav a'); ? Did we see an example of this in this part of the course? Thank you.
