it's recommended to take JQuery Basics first, but the opposite is said on the JQuery Basics page. :D
so which one is a prerequisite course for which?

16,787 PointsI would do Javascript basics followed by interactive web pages, then once you are confident in plain Javascript move on to JQuery basics.

15,259 PointsAndrew Chalkley I believe Matteo is referring to the teacher's notes on the overview video of the 'Interactive Web Pages with javascript' course (https://teamtreehouse.com/library/interactive-web-pages-with-javascript/javascript-and-the-dom/overview), where 'jQuery Basics' is listed as a prerequisite. On the main page of the jQuery Basics course, 'Interactive Web Pages with Javascript' is a prerequisite.

3,938 PointsHi, I am querious why you are not updating the teacher's note with the new JavaScript Basics you can do here on teamtreehouse? It is so much better then the JavaScript Foundations where many people have refered that they are confused while doing the course? :)
Me personally felt that JavaScript Basics was awesome, really easy to understand and I think more people would be far more intrested if they had to go via "JavaScript Basics" instead of "JavaScript Foundations" as you suggest.
Or is it some other reason you won't do this change in the teachers note?

Treehouse Guest TeacherJavaScript Basics is awesome, but we're waiting on another course from Dave McFarland to be released to completely cover all necessary topics covered in JavaScript Foundations. These two courses will supersede JavaScript Foundations and will become the new prerequisites to all of our JavaScript courses.
