Probably a really stupid question.... How do you separate a tab in Google Chrome?

I try to click it and just drag it away, but it will only move horizontally along the same bar all the other tabs are. I am trying to do this to make sure my responsive.css is functioning properly. I have looked all over the place and others seem to be having similar problems yet nothing suggested seems to help.

You should drag it down really hard. Or ctrl+N to open a new tab in a new window and copypaste the address.

Pulling down hard did not work. Will being on a macbook pro change effect that? The new window-copy-paste thing worked.... but that will be incredibly annoying every time i want to make sure my project is adjusting appropriately. Safari web browser does not get small enough and I cannot pull tabs off on Chrome.

I don't have a macbook so I can't comment on that. Sorry.

Thanks! The new window will work for now until I figure something out.

I figured out what was going on. When the browser is in full screen mode it will not let you pull off any tabs. Making it slightly smaller fixed the issue. Thanks for your help!

Oo thank you. I have learned a thing too!
