Problem with Challenge section in html forms lesson.

I can't seem to get past the challenge section after the lesson on buttons in the html forms class. When I was told to add a button inside the form, this is the code I wrote:

<form action="index.html" method="post"> <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name"> <textarea id="comment" name="user_comment"> <button type="submit">Sign Up</button> </form>

It's telling me that the button needs to be inside the form. Is there something I'm missing here?

I made the same mistake at first - you need to add a closing tag the the text area:

<body>
    <form action="index.html" method="post">
        <input type="text" id="name" name="user_name">
        <textarea id="comment" name="user_comment"></textarea>
        <button type="submit">Sign Up</button>
    </form>
</body>

The preview button is a good way to debug your code in cases like this. Hope this helps.

Thank you! I added the closing tag, but it is still saying that I need to place the button inside the form.... : (
