I found two problems when using 'composer init'. I had to define a package name because Composer didn't like the '\' characters when trying to use the default value (my project is in a child folder of my Xampp's htdocs folder). I discovered later when using 'composer require' that a license needs to be designated. I learned after some research that you can specify 'proprietary' if you do not have a specific license to specify. This information was supplied by 'composer diagnose', which by the way was very clear and concise. The dependency 'monolog/monolog' was successfully added after these modifications to the JSON file initialization.
I wanted to share this info because I am sure that I won't be the only one to want to use Composer in Windows.

12,035 PointsHi Randolph, I'm using Windows and Xampp to and struggling to implement Composer into Brakets like the tutorial. When I call Composer from the command prompt it says that it has been downloaded successfully but how do I get it to work the same as in the example and not just by adding a JSON file. Also, are there any specific requirements for the package name? Thanks, Troy.
