Problems with workspaces, after I save and refresh the code, I cannot see the changes within the work I've applied

I was wondering when I apply lines of CSS code into workspaces, save the work, the refresh the page. I can't understand why when I refresh, no change has been made, this problem has been reoccurring from Computer Basics, all the way to CSS Basics - as in this still happens even though I have started other projects, using two different versions of windows 8.1 and 10; even on different browsers Mozilla and Windows Edge If anyone could kindly me offer

A) A Solution to this problem B) Other Alternatives, such as simulating your website with the use of text editors

A) I found that using google chrome is the best to work with, if you aren't already using it. Also sometimes closing out of the preview helps instead of just refresh. Make sure that you are using the correct workspace, sometimes if you are opening it from the video it will be a different workspace that the teacher provides or it might be opening an old one. I personally usually used the same one through most of the parts because I wanted to follow along. Also sometimes logging out and logging in helps with workspace problems. If all those don't work, contact treehouse.

B) I like work spaces, I have just gone through rails with sublime text and trying to run Ruby off of windows was a bear. Also the nice thing about workspaces is its easy. I mean you could use Sublime Text or notepad++, then you'd have to find another way of viewing it to make sure it works, and windows sometimes can get cranky with trying to code on its operating system. Granted I am bias I like workspaces, so if you'd like try SublimeText its really smooth.
