Java Java Basics Perfecting the Prototype Conditional ints

Program Variable Name Isn't Working

Conditional.java
Integer numberOfPeople = 3;

Bummer! Make sure you create an int with the name of numberOfPeople with a value set to 3.

Try

int numberOfPeople = 3;

"int" is a primitive type, while "Integer" is a class

Hey Ezekiel,

It looks the confusion Java is running into is the integer is "int" in java for the primitive type.

So this should look something like like

int numberOfPeople = 3;

Thanks let me know if this doesn't help.
