2,805 PointsProject files need updated.
Opening the project file Shows my login texts too high because it wants me to upgrade for ios 7. The project files also show up differently in the main storyboard. I think project files might need updating. This also makes it difficult to follow along and do the same things as the instructor. For creating a new tableview class the blank implementation file looks differently than shown on the video. This hasn't been much of a problem until now.

Treehouse TeacherSorry about your trouble. This project was created in iOS 6 using Xcode 4.6, which had a slightly different format. iOS 7 was a significant change in some ways for previous projects.
It sounds like you got everything where you need it to be. There is a follow-up project to this one called Implementing Designs for iPhone, and in the first video we cover how to upgrade the storyboard for Xcode 5 and iOS 7.

2,805 PointsIt changes the layout in the storyboard from what it should be as shown in the video or possibly that project file is incorrect. I don't know, but it's making it difficult for me to move on.

16,551 PointsSorry to hear about that.. yeah iOS moves pretty fast. If you downloaded the files in connection to the video you should be fine. Xcode just upgrades the interface to give it that iOS 7 vibe.

2,805 PointsI did download the project file and open it with x-code and it does not look the same as the video. The file is ribbit_stage2_end.zip. I've downloaded it twice and the storyboard does not match the video. The username screen is too high and I can't move it because it's behind the ribbit title.

2,805 PointsNever mind I guess, I just went back and remade a lot of the storyboard.

16,551 Pointshey drewmeador you should be fine "upgrading" the files to iOS 7. Xcode just asks that to ensure you know you won't be able to open the same files again in a previous version of xcode 5.
