13,028 PointsI don't know if that is necessarily fair. It all depends on where you learned the pronunciation and the context it is being used. For instance, MySQL is something that is pronounced in many different ways. I don't think you can just say one way is the correct way. The important thing to note is that you use the correct pronunciation or clarify if someone doesn't understand. Ideally, I try to use very little to no acronyms. So, instead of saying oop or o-o-p, I'll simply state object oriented programming.
