Hey! I don't understand your question... swapHead is not a constructor, and in the video there is no discussion about constructors.

The line tells you: swapHead is a method. It gives back a String, and takes a Sting as an argument (which will be called "characterName" in the method, but will not be the class-property characterName defined earlier in the class.... To access the class-property characterName you have to type "this. characterName").
