Put two header cells with any text inside of the row you just created.

I guess I'm not really sure what it is they are asking of me here. I've tried a few different orientations of theads and rows but no luck.

Solved: was an issue of different types of head tags

Additional info that may be helpful for future forum searchers:

thead & tfoot are used with longer tables, typically more than a screen-ful, not to be confused with th which is used for column headers similar to those found in a spreadsheet.

They're asking for <td> cells. Put two of those into the <tr>.

you mean td tags? Still not quite getting this one.
