If it is task 2 of the challenge, it states 'Convert the arguments to floats before you add them together', so continuing from the first task:
def add(num1, num2):
return float(num1)+float(num2)

7,324 PointsThe function should be called 'add' not 'float'. 'float()' is already a function in Python. This is how I did mine before converting to float:
def add(num1, num2):
total = num1+ num2
return total
and after we convert to float:
def add(num1, num2):
total = float(num1) + float(num2)
return total
