Python basics challenge task 2 of 2

I don't understand what is being asked...what is the passed-in number and where was it ever referenced? it seems like that came out of nowhere. Am I missing something?

The "passed-in number" is the int argument that your function takes.

def foo(num):  # <-- num is the "passed-in number"
