19,379 PointsPython Difficulty Spike?
I've been doing the Python track and it's been fairly straightforward until now. I've noticed it became a lot more difficult on the Python Collections course after they cover dictionaries and the code challenges that follow. Its right around when they mention Packing and Unpacking. It seems that after that point the material is covered extremely fast and nearly every code challenge I encounter I need to look up the solution on the forums. It went from being easy to understand to very confusing. Is this normal when learning Python?

4,874 PointsIt really depends person to person. So just give some time to yourself and play around with the stuff as specially packing and unpacking. This is normal to every python learner. Only thing to remember is to be there and don't stop coding. Good luck!

4,283 PointsAgreed. It feels a lot more challenging, I'm glad other people noticed.
This isn't necessarily a complaint, rather the realisation that we'll have to review the videos and practise the methods more thoroughly.

11,437 PointsGreat advice. I'm in the same situation Dima. I'm currently taking a break from the track because it can become overwhelming. I'm currently reading a python beginners book and reviewing "python collections" videos. Also, I've been finding it very helpful to try and answer questions here in the community. When you do the research to answer community questions as thoroughly as possible you would be surprised on how much you learn in the process.
