1,604 PointsPython Techdegree requirements?
Hi,
I'm interested in the Python Techdegree, but I'm curious to know if there is any requirements before taking this course.
I started learning a bit about HTML and CSS, then I started over at TreeHouse, I'm about to finish the Digital Literacy course.
I'd like to know when would it be fine for me to start the Techdegree program, and what courses to finish before.
Thank you.

6,759 PointsHi,
I think the only requirement is that you are interseted in learning the stuff!:) The education material is very good and they go through the courses in a specific order beginning with the very basic and then continuing step by step to more advanced stuff. You do it in your own pace which is good if you study part time.
Good luck!

23,118 PointsReally you could just jump in, and start, but I would suggest you go through the basic HTML and CSS class, first at least, that way, when you start writing loops with list items and such, first you will know how list items work in HTML, and you will be able to style your output. you can also do both if you have the time, just remember, its not a race, it about doing it right, and understanding the concepts that are being applied.

1,604 PointsThank you both for your answers, I think I'll continue what I am doing right now, then try the Techdegree once I feel ready.

23,118 PointsI think that is a smart move. Take it at your pace, and when you feel ready, jump in.
